The Red in Dark

Constantly oscillating across the night sky like a high beat to a low beat over and over again the moon played hide and seek with the clouds ever so slightly glancing beneath them illuminating all it could see. Opposing the woods, looming above the clouds; the aloof structure encased the wood’s in its silent superiority over-looking the cresting zeniths of the life-stripped trees.

But in the shallow light a crimson, red robe trailed across the blanket of leaves and mud that covered the wood’s vast surface. And sent the darkness depleting into the dense maze of trees. The robe’s bright red colour darkened in unison with the evermore tinted atmosphere and in a sudde contrast turned to a white. Silky strings of hair flowed down like a white river and gently turned to its normal blue. Second to nothing and first to everything in brightness, her eyes burned a blue flame you could almost feel your palm ignite into flames in its furor brightness and it extinguished the darkness under its exposure leaving a pathway of blue oppression. Trees rustled their leaves and drooped their branches poisoned as her feet plunged into the forest’s funny floor drowning in an everlasting sea.

Satisfied by her red marks obliging the trees to bow down before her the only thing you would remember is the abstract rusted chain that dangled under her neck.
